CHARACTER SUMMARY

Kim Rok Soo grew up in Korea in a post-apocalyptic setting, serving as a team lead for hunting supernatural monsters. He had been orphaned at a young age and struggled to make ends meet more of his life. Eventually, he ended up borrowing the "The Birth of a Hero" and read up to the 5th volume. After falling asleep, he finds himself in the body of Cale Henituse, a minor antagonist. The only thing that Kim Rok Soo could remember about Cale is that he is what is called "trash" and is beaten up by the protagonist Choi Han.

As "Cale," he is just as lazy as the old Cale and wishes to live his life in peace with as few responsibilities as possible. Instead of many transmigrators that wish to change the story or their reputations, Cale doesn't care about any of that. He only, initially, seeks a power that he could use to protect himself and avoid getting smacked around by Choi Han. Cale has every intention of staying out of the story as possible and introduces people to Choi Han that are supposed to go with him. In no way does he want to be at the center of things.

Unfortunately, we don't always get what we want. This plan completely backfires on him in the end and he doesn't even actually realize it.

Cale is the type of person who would take responsibility in order to not have to take responsibility. He is also often unable to directly speak his true feelings of care and concern for the people he cares about but when asked about it, he would be unable to deny it. He is still a very kind and gentle person to those he is close to and can be worldly-wise and generous. He will always choose the path that can give him a peace of mind even if that's the hardest path. He thinks he can only be at peace when people around him at peace. Sometimes he can give advice, motivate, or comfort people with his words without realizing it. However, his own view of himself is that of a trashy person.
